The NAB Northwest exists to resource, network, and enable local churches to become disciple-making congregations to the glory of God. And therefore, we have made it our aim to partner together, investing time and resources to strengthen the Great Commission, disciple-making health of our churches.
The church (universal) is composed of believers from every tribe and tongue and nation who have responded to God's gracious call by repenting of their sins, trusting wholly in the finished work of Christ, and being baptized into the Trinitarian name (Acts 2:37-38; Romans 8:29-30). Be equipped through the proclamation of the Word of God (the gospel) that we might live it out in the church and in the community (1 Corinthians 15:1-11; Galatians 1:8; 1 Timothy 3:16-17).
Celebrate the Lord's Supper and baptism (Matthew 28:19-20; 26:26-28; 1 Corinthians 11:23-25).
Be cared for and led by shepherds/elders (Acts 14:23; Titus 1:5).
Be sent out as missionaries to our homes, communities, cities and the world as a sign, seal and foretaste of the Kingdom.
Biblically and historically this is what distinguishes a church from a club or community organization.

Through genuine gospel partnership between pastors and churches (Philippians 1:3-5).
Through providing and making pastors aware of on-going training opportunities.

Through offering grants to help churches do disciple-making ministry they could not otherwise do.
Criteria for Grant:
Must be a clear connection between the ministry and the priorities of the region.
Must give details of how the ministry will be accomplished.
Must be wisely thought out, yet a step of faith driving us to our knees.
Must develop a metrics of how you will determine if you are accomplishing your ministry aim.
Must be supported by the church body.
Must be ministry you couldn't otherwise fund.
Must have a plan of how the ministry can be sustained once the funding is done.
Must be willing to report back to the association as to how God is working.
We feel we have a mandate to move as much resources as we can to the front lines of our churches. This movement of resources is for the purpose of assisting churches in making disciples who make disciples.
